Hi.
I am trying to use DS32 Design Studio for configure the pins of S32K8xx. DS32 does not work with the K3 family. When I create the project there is no MCU selected. In the image showing the steps there does not seem to be an SDK available for selection. Is there a way to resolve this?
Thanks.
I didn't try the RTD as I had reinstalled version V3.4 and everything worked.
As it turns out V3.4 does not support all the S32K3xx devices so I might have to try V3.5 again to use these devices.
Hello @mark2468,
You need to install the S32 Design Studio 3.5.0 development packages for offline use, support for S32K3xx, S32K358 and S32K388 package
Automotive SW - S32K3 - S32 Design Studio
3.5.0_D2212 S32 Design Studio 3.5.0 Development Package with support for S32K3xx devices
Download SW32K3xx.S32DS_3.5.0_D2212.zip
Add it as an Update site
After that, you should see it in the Available/Update list
BR, Daniel
I added the package like you described above. The S32K388 is now available which is good. However, I still cant do the pin configuration as there is no SDK in the drop down list when I create the project.
Do I need to add something else for this?
Thanks.
Hello @mark2468,
The library requires RTD 2.0.1.
It might be in the list already, if not, you can find it again in the Standard Software
Automotive SW - S32K3 - Real-Time Drivers for Cortex-M
S32K3 Real-Time Drivers Version 2.0.1
Regards,
Daniel
will the S32ds studio version 3.4 support family S32K388 OR S32K358?
Do you mean you can't install the RTD 2.0.1 or the library in S32DS 3.5?
Thanks,
Daniel
