in the picture below,when the counter add 1,it means  1 us ?

after counter reach to 1000 000 ,it will generate intrupt ???

the peroiod of interrupt is 1 s  ???

it is  nothing without  the frequency of my  device ?

the trriger source must chose internal trriger if i want to use it as a 1s timer   ?????

Hi

Because you selected Microsecond unit in Period units, so when the counter add 1,it means  1 us(Microsecond).
Yes. After counter reach to 1000 000 ,it will generate interrupt. The period of interrupt is 1 s .

Q: It is  nothing without  the frequency of my  device?
A: Yes. Because you selected Microsecond unit in Period units. The driver will calculate it according to the frequency of your device. 

Q: the trigger source must chose internal trigger if I want to use it as a 1s timer   ?????
A: No. Please test lpit_periodic_interrupt_s32k144 in S32K1 SDK, the example is configured to trigger an interrupt every second, which toggles a LED.

Regarding the LPIT module, you can also refer to AN5413 S32K1xx Series Cookbook.

thanks for your reply.

but i have test the question ,the frequency of clock is 16MHZ,when i set the counter periodic to 16000000,

when the counter reach to 16000000,it generates interrupt,inn the intrrupt hander function,i make the led reverse,the led is on with 2 second period, so i think ,the interrupt period is related to the LPIT0_CLK
