Hi Sir, I'm a student who is developing with S32K148EVB-176Q.

I have a Question about the target board's ethernet communication.

I have a target board only now, no extended board. So I think I can't communicate through TCP/IP right? (First Question)

If correct, I plan to buy an extended board called ADTJA1101-RMII.

The second question is, Is it possible to communicate the target board and PC through an extended board to TCP/IP?

In other words, UTP cable that is sent with the board can communicate with a normal ethernet cable? (This is my Second question)

If not, should I buy an SJA1105P board to communicate with the PC and target board through TCP/IP? (This is my Last question)

Best,

Hi,

yes, you can communicate S32K148EVB_Q176 to a PC via ADTJA1101-RMII daughter card and some 100BASE-T1 Media converter, like https://technica-engineering.de/en/product-category/mediaconverters/.This one should work as well, I think https://www.nxp.com/products/interfaces/ethernet-/automotive-ethernet-phys/ethernet-media-converter-...

BTW in the Getting Started doccument https://www.nxp.com/document/guide/get-started-with-the-s32k148-q176-evaluation-board:NGS-S32K148EVB in section Project and Tutorials -> Using Ethernet you can find more info.
