Question about 32k116 sector erase

Hi Sir:

We use the same boot code (sector erasure), the test is normal on 32K144, but on 32K116, the status returned by the IC is often wrong.
May I ask what could be the reason or any suggestions?

Thank you

Gary

Hi Gary,

Could you, please, check the FSTAT register? Which address space are you trying to erase?

There are some differences between S32K144 and S32K116

S32K116 has one 128KB program flash read partition (non-interleaved 1 × 128KB)

Non-interleaved blocks have a data width of 64-bits.

S32K144 has one 512KB program flash read partition (interleaved 2 × 256KB)

Interleaved blocks have a data width of 128-bits.

Sector size of 2 KB for non-interleaved configurations (i.e., 256 KB and less). 4 KB

for interleaved configurations (512 KB and greater).

I have attached a simple test code for the erase and program S32K116 flash.

Thank you.

I hope it helps.

Best regards,

Diana
