After updating the S32DS IDE version, the generation of Processor Expert Code has stopped working, and compiling results in an error, as shown below.

Could you please explain what needs to be done to solve these two issues?

Hi @JorgeSans,

Processor Expert is currently being replaced with S32 Configuration Tools. S32 Configuration Tools supports both AUTOSAR and Non-AUTOSAR drivers. At the same time, the non-AUTOSAR S32 SDK and the AUTOSAR MCALs were combined into the Real Time Drivers (RTD). The S32 Configuration Tools are heavily dependent upon the RTD.

This is future of NXP's IDE plans and is where all future development and most of the updates will occur.

Unfortunately, there is no tool to easily migrate a project from ProcessorExpert to S32 Configuration Tools. This will be a manual process.

You can look at this guide on how to migrate projects from an earlier version: HOWTO: Migrate Application Projects from S32DS for Vision 2018.R1 to S32DS 3.x - NXP Community

As well as this community post for further information on the changes from Processor Expert to S32 Config Tools: S32 Design Studio 3.5 - Migration from 2018.R1 - NXP Community

Best regards,
Julián
