Hello,

I am using S32DS 3.4 and S32K14WEVb-Q064 and I keep running into this error while trying to debug. Any help?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi

Did you follow the Getting Started with the S32K14W-Q064 Evaluation Board?
Please download the S32K144W Evaluation Board Design Files.

Check if the MCU is powered, you can measure the VDD_MCU at J15 pin2 or TP533. If MCU is not powered, please check the setting:
J10(2-3) 5V
J107(2-3) J7 USB power or J107(1-2) J16 external 5-12V power

If the MCU is powered, then check the state of RESET_S32K(Does RED led D1 blinking? Whether there is a low level pulse on pin 1 of J104 or TS7?) If click Debug in S32DS still not able to connect MCU, then I am afraid you need to use the P&E Recovery Utility.

Please try to use P&E Recovery Utility halt MCU by refer to Recovering Cortex-M Microcontroller with a Power Glitch.

External power J16 can be used to power cycling MCU(connect Pin1-2 of J107). If you don't use external power, then connect Pin1-2 of J107 and use J10 power cycling MCU.
After halt the MCU, you should be able to debug it with S32DS.
