  Can you tell me which device are you using? 

  CMU is available in only S32K11x series of devices. Other products in the S32K14x series do not have CMU.

        Try to manipulate the thresholds in HTCR and LTCR registers,then generate a Loss of Clock reset when monitoring the FIRC.
