How to format D-flash while downloading firmware with PE

Hi,

Our project has encountered an issue regarding D-flash erasure. When flashing the .elf or .S19 file using PE , we found that the D-flash is not erased after the flashing process—it still retains residual values. We want the D-flash to be erased every time we flash via PE. Additionally, the project uses the S32K314 chip. May I ask what could be the reason for this? Thank you!

The PE Micro debugger is not an NXP product.

The S32DS IDE integrates GDB Server Plug-In for Eclipse-based ARM IDEs, and this is a PE Micro product.
