How to find the S32K3xx FreeRTOS TCP/IP stack driver and example

Hello,

Is there valid S32K3xx FreeRTOS TCP/IP stack driver and example available?

I downloaded all below installations and still failed to install any one of them.

There is a post https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K/tcpip-1-0-3-can-t-be-installed/m-p/1686564#M25052 talking about this issue. But both two files mentioned in the post  S32K396_updatesize.zip and SW32K396_S32DS_3.5.1_D2207.zip can't be found any more.

Or go through Automotive SW - S32K3 Standard Software -> Automotive SW - S32K3 - S32 Design Studio -> click to Previous tab -> find S32 Design Studio Service Pack 1 EAR 1 with support for S32K396 devices

I do find the file and installed the S32K396 development package and RTD ver 3.0.0 successfully.

But how to find the TCP/IP stack? Checked the example available, and found two ethernet loopback examples. Is it in there?

Hi,

check installation folder, if it really includes this stack. Examples are there...

you can create new project from example within S32DS

Hello PetrS,

This is what I see in my folder after installing SW32K396_S32DS_3.5.1_D2207.zip:

In the PlatformSDK_S32K3 folder, only RTD, there is no stack folder.

These are what's installed:

When creating the project from the example, only RTD, no TCP/IP stack.

Anything might be missed in my installation?

so if you now add/install tcpip stack, will it pass without any error popped out and appears within install folder?

Hi PetrS,

Only S32K396_TCPIP_RTM_1_0_2_CD01_D2208_updatesite.zip adds it to the available software. And it requires FreeRTOS. 

When installing SW32K396_FreeRTOS_10_4_6_UOS_0_8_0_DS_updatesite_D2208.zip, I got this error:

But RTD S32K3xx v3.0.0 is already installed.

What might be still missing?

Hi, 

the FreeRTOS for S32K396 requires particular version of RTD. Based on FreeRTOS for S32K396 release notes the required RTD version is Code Drop 02 and S32K396 dev package EAR2:

With this configuration you should be able install FreeRTOS package.

For RTD, I can only find these versions and couldn't find the version mentioned in your reply.

It happened before with another file as described in my another post. Is there anything missing in my searching or it indeed doesn't exist any more?
