Fresh install S32DS 3.4 with SDK; some peripherals are missing

Hi all,

I did a fresh install of S32DS 3.4. Then I updated it and installed "S32K1xx development package" and "S32SDK S32K1XX RTM 4.0.3". Now I am missing some peripheral components like Gpio_Dio and IntCtrl_Ip. How to fix this? See below for my installed components and the peripherals that are available.

For development with S32K1xx series we recommend to use the latest S32DS and RTD versions:

• S32 Design Studio 3.6.4 – Windows/Linux
• S32K1_S32M24X Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR R21-11 Version 3.0.0

To download IDE, go to S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform page -> Downloads -> S32 Design Studio 3.6.4 – Windows/Linux

To download RTD, go to S32K1 page -> Design Resources -> Software-> Real-Time Drivers for S32K1 -> Automotive SW - S32K1_S32M24x - Real-Time Drivers for Cortex-M

Please check before Release Notes for installation flow/details to each SW.

Hi Leo,

So my question is about SDK RTM 4.0.3 and your answer is to use RTD 4.4.

I can't use the RTD 4.4 drivers as they give, in my project, a 30% size increase with respect to SDK RTM 4.0.3 and then the firmware hardly fits in the microcontroller (S32K116) and then we will run into problems when doing changes or add additional features to the product. So thank you but RTD 4.4 is not an option.

I get the same drivers as yours. Please refer to S32SDK S32K1XX RTM 4.0.3 Example projects to see how are addressed gpio and interrupt features with out Gpio_Dio and IntCtrl_Ip drivers.
