FreeRtos Package update to RTD3.0

Hi,

We are currently using a S32K148, and plan to upgrade to the new RTD3.0.0.
But the FreeRtos Package notes in its Release Notes, that it supports RTD2.0.0.
However, the example projects seem to build & run fine on the Evalb. with the config DS3.6.1 + RTD3.0+FreeRtos2.0.0

Will there be a new FreeRtos Package in the Future? Or can we rely on, that it is supported?

Hello,

Then, you can rely on it for a couple of months. Because, both RTD and FreeRTOS is under a request to provide another release on Q3/2025.

The last S32K1 FreeRTOS (Aug/23) is packed with FreeRTOS 10.5.1. And we are planning to have the FreeRTOS 11.1.0 (or even 11.2.0 - if possible) no later than Sep/25.

Since the device is still active I expect that there will be next release of freertos to match RTDs.

I can ask internally if anything is prepared atm.
