Hi
I deduced from R. manual that a configuration is needed to select Faults checked by FOSU timeout, from "52.3.7 FOSU" pp. 2074 RM rev8 phrase:
"There is a 'do nothing' input coming from FCCU which indicates that the FCCU is programmed for no reaction for ALL FAULTS. It is a "static" input in the sense that it does not change after FCCU configuration"
I don't found any relation to any configuration or register so I deduced, maybe, that for assigning faults for FOSU check, it is necessary to check/uncheck NCF- "Group Disable " (1) or Fault Disabled (2) in eMCEM configuration Tab on S32Studio (see attached). I don't know effectively,.... maybe another column(Reaction Type?).
Can you help me ?
Best Regards
Fabio
Solved! Go to Solution.
When ALL NCFs are set for ‘no reaction’, FOSU is inactive.
If at least one NCF is configured for reset reaction, it activates FOSU (the fact this FCCU NCF must be enabled I take for granted).
So, if one of the 8 NCF Group is configured in the FCCU Register :"NCFS_CFG0", (52.7.1.6
Non-critical Fault-State Configuration (NCFS_CFG0) as "short reset reaction", FOSU is then automatically enabled for these NCF group, is it true?
If not, which FCCU's register do I set/modify in order to also automatically enable FOSU?
Best Regards

Yes, it should be so.
