Ask the difference of U-MULTILINK-FX Rev. B vs U-MULTILINK-FX Rev. C. Can Rev. B be used for K3?

Hi all,

Could someone tell us what version (Rev. B or Rev.C) of U-MULTILINK-FX at https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/s32-design-studio-ide/universal-multilink-f...

Can it be used for S32G2 and S32K3? As I check the associated datasheet is mentioned that is Rev. B (If it is Rev. B) we can't use it for K3?

We want to order FX from NXP above link to to use for K3 platform.

PS: while I checked the one from http://www.pemicro.com/products/product_viewDetails.cfm?product_id=15320180&productTab=3 --> it is Rev.C

Hello Nam,

here is the response I got about K3 support short time ago:

"USB Multilink FX RevA and Universal Rev A and B are based on legacy UF32 USB devices, which are no longer actively supported/validated by PEmicro under the latest plugins/software packages. 

To get latest support user would need Multilink FX Rev C, Multilink Universal Rev C/D or Multilink ACP"
