Please help confirm if the S32K11 chip can be applied in the field of aircraft, and whether it can pass the DO-178C certification. The low-altitude aircraft: capable of carrying 6 people, with a flight altitude below 3000 meters.
The S32K311 cannot achieve high level of Safety. Another MCU would need to be selected.
One that supports ASIL D. This can be compared with DAL-Level B from DO-178C. The S32K311 can achieve ASIL B which could compare with DAL-Level C.
And please provide a certification report
S32K3 family of devices is designed according to automotive standard ISO 26262. We don’t target DO-178C standards.
