iperf3 tcp test two many retr

I set the IP address of "pfe0" interface to 192.168.1.123,

and my computer IP address is 192.168.1.200.

computer is the iperf3 server, and S32G-VNP-RDB2 board is client, like picture shows, why so many Retr ?

command on board, like this:

$ ifconfig pfe0 192.168.1.123 up

$ iperf3 -c 192.168.1.200

note: Board bandwidth is 2.5Gbps, but computer is 1000Mbps.

Physically connectS32G-VNP-RDB2 P2 A/B to my computer RJ45 port..

Thanks for your post.

I suggest trying increasing the send/receive socket buffer sizes by using the -w option, with which the Retr could be near 0, with also the 1G throughput.
