Hello all,

is there a device in the S32Gx family (or alternatively another family, but for automotive use), that supports MACSec (IEEE 802.1AE) ?

Or are there plans in the NXP pipeline for such support ?

Thanks and best regards,

Stefan

P.S.: a MACSec enabled automotive ethernet switch would also do for our purpose if it is found on a S32x eval board of any kind - I had checked the SJA1110, but that does not have MacSEC AFAIKS.

Hi,

For what we can see under the available documentation, there is no roadmap for adding MACsec under the S32Gx family. We do apologize.

We are seeing that MACsec PHY variants are under development, but no defined roadmap on when we should be able to see it.

Automotive Ethernet Switches & PHY Transceivers Brochure (nxp.com)

We can recommend asking your local NXP representative/FAE, to see if they could have more information that the one we can look into.

Please, let us know.
