Hi,

I'm using S32G274A

I installed The S32 Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR 4.4 Version 2.0.0.

But I can't find PFE TRESOS componet.

Is there any other things to do to use PFE component on M7 core?

PFE driver for M7 core is a separate package. Use Automotive Software Package Manager  to download it:

Follow the documentation enclosed within the package on how to use it with S32DS

I've already downloaded the package PFE.

I think there is no document to follow...

Instead, there is release note : 'PFE-DRV_S32G_M7_MCAL_BETA_0.9.5_ReleaseNotes.txt'

And it says,

========================================================
Installation:
========================================================
This package shall be integrated with following version of NXP AUTOSAR MCAL:
  - SW32G2_RTD_4.4_2.0.0_HF02
This package uses PFE firmware:
  - s32g_pfe_class firmware version HF 1.0.1 (included in package)

There are 2 installation options after extracting files from this package:
    - Copy the directory Eth_43_PFE_TS_T40D11M09I5R0 to the plugins
directory of your EB tresos installation
    - Create an EB tresos link to the directory where this package is extracted

It is ambiguous what the 'plugins directory of your EB tresos installation' is.

And I tries to find some plugins directory and copy the directory 'Eth_43_PFE_TS_T40D11M09I5R0' to that plugins directory, but it didn't work.

Please let me know

1) if it is the right way to refer to this document

if not what document should I refer?

2) If it is, where can I find the 'plugins directory of your EB tresos installation'?

Could you give me a hint?

I think there is no document to follow...

The driver is packed with about 400 pages of documentation in three PDF files under eclipse\plugins\Eth_43_PFE_TS_T40D11M09I5R0\doc\:

bpe_0-1641553801755.png

1) if it is the right way to refer to this document
if not what document should I refer?

Plugins installation instructions can be found in Section 3.3 of the driver Integration Manual (AUTOSAR_MCAL_ETH_43_PFE_IM.pdf). The Release Notes generally describe the same steps. The both are valid.

2) If it is, where can I find the 'plugins directory of your EB tresos installation'?

If you don't see the plugins\ directory, install EB Tresos first. The plugins\ should be right below the folder where you installed it. If you are working with S32DS and not EB Tresos as the screen captures you posted earlier in this thread suggest, follow the steps in the Release Notes below "  Delivered as an extension for S32 Design Studio" bullet.

Hey,

Could we please get an answer for this?

We want to use the PFE from the M7 cores. Is this even possible? The installation file that is downloaded, is indeed not of the same "update_site" format than everything else (RTD,RTOS, etc.). It cannot be installed the conventional way, and section 3.3 of the manual does NOT explain how to install for S32DS.

The help would me much appreciated

Thank you

Could you let me know how to create 'Target' (S32G274A)?

The installation steps you described in your recent posts are not valid. They
fail because you they are not in line with any document discussed earlier in this
thread. The only suggestion that can be given in this regard is, review the
documentation you have been suggested, namely Release Notes for NXP
Semiconductors PFE MCAL Driver swv: 0.9.5
and S32G PFE MCAL 4.4 Driver Integration Manual Section 3.3 and do follow them
strictly.

Here is what I've done.

 - install new software

skseofh_0-1641882198904.png

- add 'PFE MCAL 0.9.6.zip'

skseofh_1-1641882277835.png

But it said, "Could not find jar:file:/~~~~~~~~~~'

skseofh_2-1641882311154.png

So I open PFE zip file

skseofh_3-1641882371643.png

And this is 'LLCE SDK' that can install SDK.

PFE zip contains different files that can install(like LLCE SDK)

Where can I find "Delivered as an extension for S32 Design Studio"?

Could you give me more detailed info?

Hi,

Did you find a solution? Is there a PFE software extension that can be used in S32 design studio?
