Hi,
I have a question of ADC(VREFH_ADC and VAD_INPUT).
What is the Max. VAD_INPUT value? 2.66V = VREFH_ADC(MAX 2.16V) + 0.5V?
Is VREFH_ADC of VAD_INPUT an instantaneous value? 2.3V = VREFH_ADC(1.8V)+0.5V?
or Do I have to keep the operating condition of ADC?
2.17V = 1.92V+0.25 or 2.05V = 1.8V + 0.25 ?
Hi,
The VAD_INPUT value is directly related to VREFH_ADC. If, as an example, your design is using VREFH_ADC = 1.8V, then your Absolute MAX VAD_INPUT = VREFH_ADC + 0.5V = 1.8V + 0.5V = 2.3V.
As for the tables, It is always recommended to be under operating conditions (VAD_INPUT = VREFH_ADC + 0.25V). If you need to be under the absolute maximum ratings (VAD_INPUT = VREFH_ADC + 0.5V), there are several notes to take into account regarding the ADC inputs (S32G2 Data Sheet, Rev. 5, 05/2022, Table 3, notes 1,4,7,8). Below will be a summary for notes 1 & 4.
Note 1. This Absolute Maximum Ratings are stress ratings only, and functional operation at the maxima is not guaranteed.
Note 4. (Regarding VERFH_ADC) Allowed 1.92V - 2.16V for 60 seconds cumulative over lifetime with no operating restrictions, 2.6 hours cumulative over lifetime with device in reset, at maximum Tj = 125 °C
Hopefully this helps with your question.
