Hello S32G Community Team,

I'm reaching out for assistance regarding my S32G399ardb3 development.

I'm currently working on a project where I need to boot both M7 and A53 cores from eMMC. As part of this process, I'm trying to create a binary with IPCF functionality and have a few questions.

I'm using bsp42.0 (Yocto) for the A53 core:

1. Is IPCF functionality already included in this Yocto BSP?

2. If not, do I need to separately build and include the ipc-shm git repository?

3. And if so, which branch of ipc-shm is compatible with bsp42.0?

Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Have a great day.

hi,dylee

Thank you for contacting us.

1-2. The BSP does not include the IPCF module. You can refer to this link: https://github.com/nxp-auto-linux/ipc-shm.git to download this module. You can also refer to AN13750 to learn more about how to use the module.

3.The latest version of IPCF is 4.10.0, which supports BSP40 as mentioned in the release notes. BSP42 is a newer version, so you can try it, but the recommended version is BSP40.
