Hi.
I'm curious why 32 GPIOs are used for boot configuration in the S32G.
Is it mandatory to use all 32 GPIOs for boot mode configuration?
To use the GPIOs assigned for boot configuration, are additional switches required?
Hello, @Ralph88
Thanks for your post.
The S32G could support several boot mode, if boot from parallel RCON is selected, then 32 RCON pins should be used, but if boot from serial RCON or others, it is not mandatory to use all 32 RCON pins.
Actually, boot from serial RCON is always selected during the custom board design, which would not occupy many pins.
If "Boot from parallel RCON" is planned, then I suggest directly referencing the RDB schematic with details for using additional devices.
