I have being trying to install the plugin S32K1xx Develpoment package and S32SDK S32K1XX RTM v4.0.1 in S32 Design Studio v3.5 but always getting the below error.

Here is the error details:

An error occurred while installing the items

Also when I completed this installation I was not able to see any of the development packages, so i added offline packages. But still this error is not

Hi @VaneB ,

I did see these post it says to use a offline installer. I'm using that offline packages only since the sdk was not available during the start only. I was able to install the S32DSK1xx Development package using the offline package but not the RTM 4.0.1 is there any compatibility issue with RTM 4.0.1 and s32DS v3.5 since the same RTM v4.0.1.

Also i have not updated the S32DS v3.5 its the base version i can see there are 12 updates to it i have not installed that

Hi @rj3010

Could you please share your installation details? In the meantime, please install any S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform 3.5 Update from version 4 onwards.

Hi @rj3010

As S32DS is having problems downloading some items, it looks to have a connection problem with some update sites. A possible cause of this situation could be a firewall issue or also could be caused by your company's IT/Network policy. Please help us contact your local IT to verify if this is the reason for this situation.

Yes , i contacted my IT team for this also and they are saying they do not see any block for nxp site they have even added few nxp websites that we found in the error log. My IT team told that if you NXP team can give a list of sites that needs to be bypassed they can do that for me.

But yes i can loop in my IT team and get this sorted can you tell me the process of doing that, do i need to create a ticket for that.

Hi @rj3010

I am attaching an image of the available software sites that reach the content for S32DS 3.5.

Yes, i have all the sites added here in the list

Here is the list i have added in the Available software list.

rj3010_1-1718857559318.png

Now when i open the extension and update page the error log shows that the files cannot be accessed. As shown below.

rj3010_0-1718857501805.png

Also when i try to open the site on the web browser it shows that page not found 404 for almost all the websites giving error. So when i tell that IT team to unblock they suggest to check if the site is accessible from browser which it does like it open a page.

Here is the example of 2 site i tried to access externally,

rj3010_2-1718857776946.png

rj3010_3-1718857862784.png

So when they check it opens a page so they cannot figure it what is getting blocked.

Hi @rj3010

Sorry for all the problems, noting that you are facing several problems with the installation of packages, I can recommend working on the newest versions of the SDKs in the S32DS v3.4. Another thing you can try is to uninstall S32DS 3.5 and try installing the corresponding packages again.

Hi @rj3010

Similar situations have been discussed in several threads, try the workarounds provided in the links I am attaching, and if the problem persists let me know.
