For the Peripheral Clock of S32R274

I am new to S32,and I read the "HOWTO: Create a Blinking LED Project (MPC5748G) ",I have some questions:

1,For the I/O,is the Clock of the SIUL2 enable or disable?

Why have this question,   

In this example,I find two functions of Clock,but I can't get some information from the functions.And I read the Reference Manual,I find that the peripheral's clock is supported by the PBRIDGE_n_CLK.

Enable the clock or Disable the clock?Need the function "CLOCK_SYS_Init()"?
