When I use S32 Flash Tool and click "Upload target and algorithm to hardware...", the software shows an error with "Program finished with error #-1073741819". What does this mean and how can I solve this problem?

Hi, @9610wk ,

Please can you check uninstalling the current version of USB/ FTD drivers and installing newer one.

You can find the latest FTDI driver at : https://ftdichip.com/drivers/d2xx-drivers/

Please let me know if it works or not.

Thank you. Kind regards.

Hi, VaneB

Thanks for your reply. I read the listed post but the issue still exists.

I checked the user guide for the evaluation board, installed 'SW32G2_RTD_4.4_2.0.0_HF04_DS_updatesite_D2107' and 'SW32G2_S32DS_3.4.1_D2104'. I also checked the listed conditions in the post and the check results are as follows.

1.The USB connection between the PC and the target was attempted on one USB port.

2.The target is set to ‘serial boot mode’ .

3.The USB cable and other device are good as they can work on my colleague's PC.

4.There were no other serial connections active on the same COM port at the same time the S32 Flash Tool was in use.

5.The COM port be entered using UPPERCASE letters.

6.None of the DIP switches are damaged.

7.The error was reported after I clicked 'Upload target and algorithm to hardware...'

Are there any other possible reasons for this issue? Thanks a lot

Hi, Mehul Patel

I'm sorry I only saw your reply today.

I solved the problem by uninstalling S32DS v3.4 and installing S32DS v3.5.

Thanks for your reply.
