Hi,

I am using S32DS (v3.4) for development on S32K148 chip, My OS is Ubuntu 16.04.

I have followed the steps as per 'S32DS_Installation_Guide_3.4.0.pdf' and able to operate with S32DS for creation of project, SDK integration etc.

However when i try to use the ConfigTools for Pin setting or Peripheral Setting the IDE crashes and the following error log is observed in the console:

#
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

Please Let me know what needs to be done to overcome this issue.

Thanks in Advance,

Hi,

I already sent response in ticket system - but it looks that the message was not automatically posted here.

So, did you tried use the recommended Java version mentioned in Install guide? The OpenJDK may cause some issues.

Hi Jiri,

Thanks for your response.

Yes, I had followed the exact steps as per the S32DS_Installation_Guide_3.4.0.pdf document for Ubuntu 16.

As of now I have migrated to v3.3 of the S32Design Studio and the issue is not seen there.

Hence I am proceeding with the same for my project.

Best Regards,

Ranjith Bhide.
