In SW32K3_FreeRTOS_10_5_0_CD2_3_0_0_DS_updatesite_D2301_ReleaseNotes, specific versions of S32DS and S32K3 Development Package are required to install. But they are no longer available in the Software Download pages. Where can the following versions of packages be retrieved? Thanks.

- Make sure S32 Design Studio v3.5, S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform v.3.5 with S32K3 Service Pack:
+ S32DS: S32DS.3.5_b220726_win32.x86_64.exe and SP1 EAR3 (com.nxp.s32ds.update_3.5.2.20221215192840)
+ S32K3 development package: com.nxp.s32ds.sp1.s32k3xx.update_3.5.0.20221216123831

Hello @ipizlee,

The versions you listed above are the latest versions available for download. You should not have any issue to locate them in your account. I checked your account, I could see them all there.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hello @mikedoidge ,

Thank you for your reply.

For S32DS, I do not find this com.nxp.s32ds.update_3.5.2.20221215192840 required in the FreeRTOS release note. The one available is the SW32_S32DS_3.5.2_D2302.zip, which seems to me is release 2302 instead of the specified 2212.

The S32K3 DevPack is release 2212 available for download, but after install, the date info in the Installation Details isn't the same as required in the FreeRTOS release note, which is com.nxp.s32ds.sp1.s32k3xx.update_3.5.0.20221216123831.

By using the available downloads, I failed to config and build the FreeRTOS sample.

Hello @ipizlee,

I am referring to the S32 Design Studio 3.5.0 Development Package with support for S32K3xx devices

What you are locating is the 'S32 Design Studio 3.5 Update 2 package for offline use'.

Please ensure you are downloading and installing the correct package.

To locate the correct package:

1) Login to NXP.com

2) Proceed until you reach 'Product List' page:

Hi @ipizlee,

Within the example project, there is 'description.txt' file. This file is also presented within the New Project from Example wizard after you select the FreeRTOS project from the list. Within this file is details on how to work with the project, once created by the wizard:

3. Generating, building and running the example application

3.1 Generating the S32 configuration

Before running the example a configuration needs to be generated. First go to Project Explorer View in S32 DS and select the current project.
Select the "S32 Configuration Tool" menu then click on the desired configuration tool (Pins, Cocks, Peripherals etc...).
Clicking on any one of those will generate all the components. Make the desired changes(if any) then click on the "S32 Configuration Tool->Update Code" button.

3.2 Compiling the application

Select the configuration to be built: RAM (Debug_RAM), or FLASH (Debug_FLASH) by left clicking on the downward arrow corresponding to the build button in eclipse.
Wait for the build action to be completed before continuing to the next step. Check the compiler console for error messages; upon completion, the *.elf binary file
should be created.

Did you perform these steps? If you do not generate the code first, you will receive error messages. This step is required for all example projects provided with the SDK.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hello @mikedoidge ,

It seems to me the FreeRTOS 3.0.0 examples ain't updated for Platform_SDK_3_0_0, remains for 2022_07 (v2.0.1).

After other further exploration, I decide to stay with S32DS3.4.3 + RTD2.0.3 + FreeRTOS2.0.3 for now.

Thank you for all.
