S32 Design Studio for Arm stuck at Licenses Verification

S32 Design Studio for Arm stuck at Licenses Verification. Did everything but it does not move ahead.

Also tried to cancel the operation but it doesn't work.

Even after Re installation doesn't help it shows the same message.

Not able to access any menu or option. Please help

Hi, 

this is known issue and dev team is working on that. Hope they will have solution soon. If it is urgent - please create NXP support ticket. There is workaround, but it requires your email address used in NXP account. Or you can send it to me in a private message (will be probably faster).

Does this issue impact to all s32ds? I can duplicate this issue on s32ds 3.2, s32ds 3.3 and s32ds for ARM Version 2018.R1.

If possible, can you share the workaround to my account chen.gilbert@inventec.com

Hi Gilbert, 

here is the workaround procedure: 

Please use the next workaround to disable "Extension and Updates" to check update site.
1) go to ARM product instllation directory;
2) then "eclipse\configuration\.settings" folder
3) open in editor file "com.nxp.s32ds.rcp.modular.core.prefs" 
4) modify line from "showOnStartUp=true" to "showOnStartUp=false"
5) launch ARM product.

After this you can use your S32DS. If there is still message about expiration date (all Expiration dates was moved to 2025) - you need to refresh your License (Help->NXP Licenses)
