Hi,

The MCU can't be programed by MULTILINK UNIVERSAL on my new PCB。

MCU Type:MC9S12XEP100MAL

PE:USB-ML-UNIVERSAL

The same code can be programed well on the Demo board。

I have checked the configuration as below, nothing sames wrong。

https://community.nxp.com/message/384203

I checked the BKGD signal by Oscilloscope as below, did the failure caused by the  BKGD signal?

Could you kindly give me some advice, thanks!

note:“OK” means can be programed on demo board

“NG” means can't be programed on my new PCB

Jason

Hi,

What does it mean exactly 'it can't be programmed'?

Did you try unsecuring the microcontroller? Please, see this post:
Unsecuring MC9S12XEP100MAG

Please ensure that MCU supply pins are correctly managed as well as /RESET, TEST, MODA/B/C pins and external oscillator circuitry around EXTAL/XTAL pins.

Here is a checklist you can go through:

Hi iggi,

Thank you for your help.

The MODA and MODB =1 cause the problem.

Thank you very much!
