Where can I find header files with register definitions for S12XF512 ADC?

I need to use the ADC of the MC9S12XDP512 microcontroller. I got the example projects for the EVB9S12XF512 evaluation boards that I am using but they do not contain any headers with register definitions for ADC. My CodeWarrior (5.1) installation also does not have any headers for this derivative.

I could write my own but I wanted to check first if there is a place to get header files with register definitions for various S12 derivatives. So is there a way to find these headers or generate them automatically?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

I have tried to create the S12XF512 project in CW 5.1 without any problem and I can see the mc9s12x512.h file in the Includes folder.

I assume that the install updates for the CW 5.1 should help.

Please open below link and click on the Previous button -> 5.1  link

I hope it helps you. If not, let me know.

Best Regards,

Diana

Hello Diana,

Thanks for your reply. I checked the indicated page but there are several updates for CW 5.1:

 - one compiler update

 - one processor expert update

 - several service packs for various other chips.

Which of these should I install?

Thanks again.

Hello,

The fastest way will be install CodeWarrior v5.1 again.

After that, you should see the MCU in the new project window:

I would like to mention that the CW v5.1 is not supported by Windows 8 or 10.

I hope it helps you.

Best Regards,

Diana
