Hi,
I just started a project. I was ask to use the same microcontrollers than previous projects.
But I don't have enough place for the MC9S12ZVHL64VLL 100pins.
Could you, please, help me to choose a new one? I'm new in the NXP S12 / MagniV family.
What I need :
- Lin bus (can bus optional)
- 1 stepper motor controller
- RTC
- 2 PWM
- 2 ADC inputs
- Powered by 12V (automotive application) with ballast transistor pin control
- 2 digital input
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Fred

Hello Fred,
thank you for your question, I'm glad to help you.
I would suggest you to use our S9S12ZVL32F0MLC controller:
This product can fulfill all required functions with small 32-pin package. It not comprises the dedicated RTC internal module, but the RTC functionality can be implemented by using external crystal and internal RTI functionality in clock generation module.
If you need more information you are welcome to ask me.
Best Regards,
Stano.

Hello Stano,
thanks for your answer. I will summit this solution to my boss.
So, just to be sure, there is no QFN package (or other) for the S12ZVHL64? Even on special order?
Best regards,
Fred
