S9S12G128F0VLF - Max pin rating for digital pins

Hello Team,

In S9S12G128F0VLF datasheet, absolute max rating of each pin is 6V but I would like to know how much duration micro controller can withstand 6V?

Hi,

This is not defined. The maximum ratings define a status when the MCU is not damaged but the correct behavior is not guaranteed. The MCU is still able to work correctly after returning to operating conditions. However, you can sometimes meet with note for maximum rating that some parameter has cumulative effect. If it is no mentioned cumulative effect has not to be considered.
