Hello,

 

I prepared a table for RAM page address and physical address for XEP100 target.

 

Are the addresses in the below table correct?

Also....Is there any formulae to convert PAGE address to PHYSICAL address and vice versa?

The table looks correct.

I'm usually not using the term physical address for the S12X, I'm using global instead.

 

 

The mappings for paged RAM addresses to global and back are pretty simple, but when using the compiled it should rarely be necessary to compute it. Instead the compiler should let the linker take the right type of address with a relocation.

PS: The XEP100 support to map ram to 0x4000..0x7FFF too, then the unpaged addresses are different.

PPS: There is a address conversion utility at c:\Program Files\Freescale\CWS12v5.1\prog\hcs12xadrmap.exe

Yes, the correct term is global address.
