No, I havent really looked around too much. I enjoy programming as a hobby and decided to do one myself. I also made a logical to physical address program the other day to replace the buggy one that P&E micro makes. If anyone is interested in it I might be able to release it. It's command line driven and generates a log file with detalied memory statistics and i think is just as fast if not faster than the one P&E makes. I did it at work though so I may not be able to release it. We were thinking of posting it on the p&e forum but I'll look into it.

Quote: | Anyone know a free CVS I could put the project up on? I am writing it in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and I have read that there is a plug-in for source safe to use CVS. (Never used either but am ready/willing to learn). Don't mind releasing the source (clearly I would administer changes though). Thanks for your time. |
Try sourceforge:

I was thinking about that but I am still unsure of how to do the whole CVS thing. I made an account there but it seems like they are pretty strict about things. My site (www.jx90.com) is hosted on a dedicated fedora box. Was gonna talk to the guy who owns the server about setting up a CVS on there. If I go with sourceforge I will try to put a different project on there first and see how easy it is to work with. Also I'm not the BEST on comments but I always format my code great and have descripitve variable names for most things. Plus how hard is it to really read VB?
anyhow I havent had much time to look into it lately or work on that project but when I get back into it I'll keep you updated.

Cool! I will have to take a look at those! My project has been sidelined for a while lots of other things going on.. plus the release of gran turismo 4 hasn't helped
