MC9S12XS - No Access to CPU

Hello,

i have a problem with uploading my program to this cpu. I can't upload a new software?! I use the ic 3000HS from isystems. I tested banked flash and far functions for Paging. This works for a while...

The last time i was debugging, i saw that the cpu executes code that should not be executed.

At winIDEA i found an option unsecure Flash. This works for accessing the cpu and upload the code several times before, but now it not longer works. How can i access to the cpu and erase the flash, or upload a new code. Hope that someone can help me!

sorry for my late answer !!!

Since the last post i haven't work with this controller and now i work again with it. I still have the problem...

Maybe i can give you more information about it. I have checked the ECLK signal of the Processor, but it isn't there. WinIdea says Error 91 check 'this and that'.

Is it possible to damage the controller by uploading a "normal" software without explicit flash usage or with a bad linker file. How can i access to the controller when it internal ECLK is not there?

Check out FAQ-29143 for a possible solution to your problem. Caveat: the FAQ covers a HCS08 part, but the HCS12 parts are similar enough that it is worth trying the solution described in the FAQ.
