Hi

The info you have is a little bit strange to me. You should start with HW and continue with SW step by step ...oscillator, and peripherals. Of course they are compatible but the S12XEP100 is a master device of successors S12XS, S12P, S12G (S12G is the simplest)

The most of routines will be just copy/paste but each must be checked.
