Hello,

I made the product using S912ZVC19F0MLF mcu and got the best rating.

I was very happy to find the best mcu.

I have a question.

My product only works with ADC input and PWM output.

I wondered if the product I made could work normally for 10 or 20 years.

1. If the MCU product malfunctions due to external shocks during operation, how is it restored?

2. Is there a possibility that an error in operation may be caused by invading an unused memory address due to a malfunction?

3. If an error occurs, how does the mcu solve it?

4. If there is a sample code that can prevent the error, please provide it.

5. In addition to Watchdog, please tell me how to prevent the error.

We look forward to your response.

thanks.

Hello,

You may refer to the S12ZVM Safety Manual that provides guidelines on how to configure and operate the MagniV Safety Devices.

The Safety Manual is available in SafeAssure NDA group

https://community.nxp.com/groups/safeassure-nda

The community is monitored by our expert on application safety.

So, I would recommend posting the questions there.

You would need to have an NDA first as described in this document.

https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-335524

All the questions are too generic though.

1.
The MCU can be reset by clock monitors or the MCU can detect a machine exception.

2.

3 & 4.
Please take a look at this example:

5.
I don’t understand this question.
Can you please elaborate?

Regards,

Daniel
