I have an enquiry where I have to drive a 320x240 pix TFT-LCD screen (18bit RGB interface having 6bits/colour).I have to use a controller device which can drive this ,as well as do some controls with a hardware (real world) interface. This interface is digital so I would not worry about ADC.
I was suggested to have a look at MC9S08LC family for 8bit and in 16 bit ,to have a look at MC9S12X family.
Can anyone suggest something here? Any bit of information will be useful.

I have seen AN3493 where S12XE drives a 320x96 pixel TFT directly from XGATE.
Seems its the limit on S12XE.Can someone point out somewhere I can look for my application.
It seems that to drive this 320x240 from an XGATE , I will require an FPGA inbetween.
