these two devices are EXACTLY the same with the same 3L80R mask set .
The device S9S12B128J3CPVE uses automotive format of the part number where the mask set is coded in the part number ... "J3". If you order this device you will always receive the device with this mask set. It is suitable because the mask set relates to the errata list. (Can be found at device pages)
If you order the device MC..... (general format of part number) then you can get t he device with any possible mask set on stock so your application should be done to implement errata for different mask sets ... if necessary. In the case of MC9S12B128CPVE you can met also with mask set 0M65G. (This device is the same as S9S12B128F0CFUE ... code F0 for mask set in the art number)
