I scanned the QR code on the device and it says item not found on Google Play. Even though I downloaded the Atmosphere IoT App on my Samsung Andriod phone, the App does not show the Rapid IoT kit in the Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth is ON on both the Rapid Iot Kit and the phone, yet it is not discovered. Can you kindly help?

Hi Miraya, I hope you're  doing well!

Currently, the development tools for RapidIOT are in the process of being fully migrated to the online atmosphereiot.com IoT IDE.

The example projects have also been migrated to Atmosphere Studio, and can be found by searching for NXP Rapid IoT on the Demo Projects page.

The mobile applications for iOS and Android are also being replaced by the Atmosphere IoT app, available for both iOS and Android.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

Take care, best regards,

Sebastian

Dear Sebastian,

Thank you very kindly for clarifying this issue.

But even when I download the Atmosphere App on the phone and after NXP

login, the user agreement window does not show. It simply logs me in and

when I try to connect the app to the rapid IoT kit via Bluetooth, it does

not show any device, the list is empty.

Can you please help me with the procedure? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in anticipation

Warm regards

Hi Miraya,

Could you please try compiling and downloading the Rapid IoT Kit Out-of-Box Demo from Atmosphere Studio, and programming it to your Rapid IOT Prototyping kit?

Could you please confirm if location services and Bluetooth access are enabled for the Atmosphere IOT application? Are you using and iOS or Android device?

Please let me know if you continue to have issues connecting to your kit.

Take care, best regards,

Sebastian
