Hi

we have design custom board using ls1012a processor and power chip VR5100. We used reference design board as LS1012AFRDM board. But but after power up our custom board we are not getting 5V supply. Is it required to configured VR5100 chip through I2c?

Please suggest

regards

Minal

In the VR5100 Data Sheet it is stated that SWBST is not used (OFF).

Please note that it will be more convenient to create new Community question specifically for the VR5100 - not LS1012A platform.

Ensure that you have soldered the MC34VR5100A1EP

Refer to the VR5100 Data Sheet, p.3 - 1 (LS1012 with DDR3L):

Excuse me, but 5V should be provided externally - refer to the FRDM board Reference Manual, 2.2.1 Primary power supply:

"The FRDM-LS1012A is powered through the CMSIS USB port (USB 2.0 Type Micro-AB)."

Hi,

I want to clarify you that I am referring to LXBST pin of

MC34VR5100A1EP chip in our custom board. Which we want to use to

provide 5V supply to USB port. we have connected required circuit as

per the data-sheet of MC34VR5100A1EP chip.

Hi,

Yes, Correct FRDM required external 5V supply. But the problem is

comming in our custom board. So we want to know any configuration

required for VR5100 to provide 5V supply.

Thanks
