Hi,

Sorry to repeat variant of git.freescale.com queries.

#1. For BSC9132, if we want to regenerate exact replica of below old repository url

http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/ppc/sdk/linux.git/?h=sdk-v1.2.x

will cloning the meta-fsl-ppc tag fsl-sdk-v1.2.1 and including it SDK 1.2 build good enough?

https://source.codeaurora.org/external/qoriq/qoriq-yocto-sdk/meta-fsl-ppc/

Checking this to trace out a very old vendor implementation differences.

#2. "meta-fsl-ppc" layer seems to be frozen around 2015, to port gianfar(non DPAA) driver framework to the latest optimized version is SDK 1.6 a good choice?

Thanks

You are asking about very old SDK releases for which we can provide only very
limited support. The final SDK version that supports BSC9132 is 1.9. If you
wish to use code that was tested on your processor, stay with that SDK.
This recommendation applies to gianfar/eTSEC driver as well. It is not in
active development anymore and source code repositories for it are no longer
available online. The source code of the software that comprises the SDK can
be found it's source DVD image.
