fsl-image-kernelitb Error

Hi,

I'm using yocto SDK 2.0, In which i'm trying to build Linux image for T4240RDB.

Following is the procedure followed:

1. bitbake -c menuconfig virtual/kernel
2. bitbake -c compile -f virtual/kernel
3. bitbake virtual/kernel
4. bitbake fsl-image-kernelitb

When i give "bitbake fsl-image-kernelitb",

"ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'fsl-image-kernelitb'
ERROR: fsl-image-kernelitb was skipped: incompatible with machine t4240rdb-64b (not in COMPATIBLE_MACHINE)" is displayed.

Could you please help me to proceed further.

The T4240 u-boot does not supports .itb files. There is no the fsl-image-kernelitb.bbappend for the T4240.

NXP SDK 2.0 does not support kernelitb for the T4240. This option is available for the LS1012a. LS1043a and LS1046a. See the following file:

QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto/sources/meta-nxp-npi-1703/recipes-fsl/images/fsl-image-kernelitb.bbappend

Thank you for the reply..!

I have few more doubts:

1. Were I can download the fsl-image-kernelitb.bbappend ?

2. If I download and add the fsl-image-kernelitb.bbappend file to recipe folder will it work straight away or I need to do any changes?

Could you please suggest me the procedure?
