Dear Sirs,
we are experiencing problems with a brand new LS1021A-IOT board.
In particular, not only we are not able to start a Linux distro created by us through yocto, but not even the Linux demo system included with the board itself.
In both cases we are experiencing the same problem:
Inserting the board and connecting the cable to the uart-micro USB port K22 and trying to display the serial via TeraTerm on Windows 10 we have the same behavior:
Switching on the board (PWR power cable) with the SD inside, only the PWR led (green) lights up while the other leds remain off. Pressing reset after startup, PWR, P0 come on while K22 blinks.
In both cases you can't see anything on the terminal (set to 115200 8N1 as per manual) but after resets the board is seen as a USB device named Bootloader with bootloader.htm inside that leads to the NXP page.
We opened the case and the configuration switches are correct.
What could be the problem?
