Hi All,
I've gotten a LS1012a RDB and I'm Trying to learn to use it.
The problem I have is the drive doesn't appear when it is plugged in, and only appeared as a drive called BOOTLOADER once I clicked the reset button.
Could anyone help me get the board connected?
I'm sorry is this question has been asked before, but any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance,
Nic
This is the flash image layout section, correct?
This is from the "LS1012ARDBGSG.pdf".
"QSPI is the only boot option available" this refers to Queued Serial Peripheral Interface , correct? what is the usual way to use this interface?
How QSPI is connected to the original question?
my mistake, would you be able to tell me the relevance of section 11?
Sorry, do you have the "LS1012ARDBGSG.pdf"?
I do have the LS1012ARDBGSG.pdf , section 11 of this pdf is a flash image layout section.
are you referring to page 11: Getting started with LS1012ARDB?
Sorry, in the Rev.4 of the GS the section is "10.3 Booting LS1012ARDB".
Sorry for the delay,
Yes I have followed the guide, but when I plug in the USB the PC doesn't install USB drivers and the serial port driver can't be installed.
additionally there are no com ports listed and Tera Term can't start a serial connection.
Please check that SW1 switches are in default positions - Figure 4. LS1012ARDB top view.
All of the DIP switches match figure 4 and table 8
