Is it possible to emulate the t2080rdb on an x86?

It seems there have been questions about this in the past and there is now support in mainline Qemu for the e6500 CPU. So the only missing piece appears to be a machine definition for Qemu?

Thanks!

Joe

Sorry, our support is limited only by what is provided in our Linux SDK for QorIQ processors. In our SDK we support only "native" QorIQ to QorIQ emulation, where most instructions are executed on hardware and virtual CPU looks the same as hardware core, for example e6500 on e6500 hardware.

We do not have any experience emulating e6500 core on the x86 hardware, sorry.

Have a great day,
Alexander
