We are using SerDes as per below configuration

Interfaces

Bit rate(Gbps)

SerDes lane

SGMII (1G/2.5G)/ XFI (10G)

1.25/2.5/10.3125

SerDes lanes 0

PCI Express 1 (x2)

5 GT/s

SerDes lanes 2-3

Lane 1 is unsed in our board. What should I do with Lane 1? Connect to Ground or left unconnected?

Have a great day,

Unused serdes inputs (SD_RX, SD_CLK) must be connected to SD_GND. Unused serdes outputs should be left unconnected.
Receive Equalization Control register of lane 1 is irrelevant in your implementation.

For our implementation Rx Equalization Boost bit should only been done for Lane 0 or for all the lanes?
