Enabling IPC/DSP communication on B4860QDS-64b

We want to write code to talk with the DSPs on the Freescale e6500 processor using the B4860qds evaluation board.  We are building the 64-bit Linux and file system versions.  Is there a document on how to include the IPC/DSP libraries in the image?   We are not seeing IPC included in the 1.8 SDK Yocto build for fsl-image-full.

Is there documentation on how to include the IPC software in the Yocto build process for SDK 1.8 (B4860) ?

The B4860QDS evaluation board has SC3900 DSP cores.  We want to get the programmers guide to interface with the SC3900 using Linux API libraries and processes running on the powerpc core.  We are also using the 64-bit Linux Yocto build for the B4860.
