Hi - quick question;

B4860 QoriQ Reference Manual Section 26 name lanes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H.

Pinout in B4860 Data Sheet shows the lanes a 0, 1, 2 etc.

Can I confirm: Lane A = 0, Lane B = 1 etc etc?

Is there a reason why they are named differently between the documents?

Many thanks,

Sam

Have a great day,

Yes, lane names A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H correspond to the lanes signals numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Please see Table 26-4. SerDes1 Mapping in the B4860 QoriQ Reference Manual. I.e. in the manual the serdes signals are numbered too - see Table 3-1. B4860 Signal Reference by Functional Block.
