Does T4160 Serdes when configured as 10GBase-KR and connected to a 1G link, auto negotiate and work in 1G speed? If so, what is the configuration steps we need to do?
No, 10G stays 10G, there is not any kind of rate adaptation or automatic SerDes protocol adjustment. A power-on reset with a different RCW is required to change to 1G.
