Currently i am trying to build Android BSP, using Android™ User's Guide, Rev. android-11.0.0_2.2.0. But i could't find the Android release package imx-android-11.0.0_2.2.0.tar.gz. Where from i can download this package?
Thanks for quick clarification.
You are welcome~~
Wish you have a nice day
Hi
the script of imx_android.setup.sh works now when it's executed from ~/. location instead of inside ~/imx_xxxx directory.
BTW. Is the repo sync related with python version installed? Should I set default python version to 3.6 on Ubuntu 18.4.5?
Thanks.
Regards,
Jack
No, recommend you to use the default one.
Hi NXP
I am trying to setup the Android source code version 11.0.0.2.2.0 on top of Ubuntu 18.4.5_x64.
I have followed the instruction according to Android User Guide, But there're lots of fetch error.
Can you please let us know the setup instruction that work fine?
Regards,
Jack
For build android BSP you can follow the user guide we supply,
To build the Android source files, use a computer running the Linux OS. The Ubuntu 18.04 64-bit version is the most tested
environment for the Android 11.0 build.
To synchronize the code and build images of this release, the computer should at least have:
• 450 GB free disk space
• 16 GB RAM
In addition to the packages requested on the Android website, the following packages are also needed in our user guide.
You can download it here https://www.nxp.com/webapp/sps/download/preDownload.jsp.
