hello im a student and im willing to know if some of your boards are good or compatible with my thesis project.
So im looking to use an mcu to develop and ai to control and make correction on a traction inverter, for that i weas looking the frdm-mcxa153 and the inverter i was looking the FRDM-mc-lvpmsm and with the frdm-mc-lvmtb.
should i choose these boards or should i change to another ones.
PD:they need to be development kits
Hello @Asimoes,
The MCXA153 sounds good, but I could better recommend the MCXN947, since it includes an NPU that you could use for your AI. Additionally, there is already an application note that uses the FRDM-MC-LVPSMS on this page.
The SDK version where the example is found is mentioned on this same page, as shown in the next image:
Also, if you experience any issue, does not hesitate to let me know.

So the idea would be to get the FRDM-MCXN947 and still with the frdm-mc-lvpmsm and the frdm-mc-lvmtb ?
or just like this picture, you think is possible to develop an ai based traction inverter?
Hello again @Asimoes,
So, the idea would be to get the FRDM-MCXN947 and still with the frdm-mc-lvpmsm and the frdm-mc-lvmtb ?
Yes, the MCXN947 includes an NPU, which can enhance the performance of your AI applications.
Additionally, the FRDM-MC-LVPMMSM board is compatible with the MCXN947 and provides a 3-phase bridge inverter for motor control applications.
However, you will need to create and set up the AI models yourself, based on what your project needs.
Also, if you experience any issue, do not hesitate to let me know.
